New MTN Zone Bundle | MTN Ghana has introduced a new way of buying your favorite zone bundle which is different from the traditional USSD method. MTN has not canceled zone bundles, they only changed how these data bundles are purchased. This is the main reason why I am writing this article
What is MTN Zone Bundle?
MTN Zone Bundles are internet packages with discounts given by MTN Ghana, a division of MTN. These bundles appear to be legal and offer big amounts of data at cheap pricing. The bundle discounts may differ depending on the subscriber's location.
MTN Ghana also offers a range of other data packages, such as MTN Basic Packages, MTN Midnight Packages, MTN Kokrokoo Bundle, and MTN Social Media Bundles, in addition to MTN Zone Bundles.
Is MTN Zone Bundle Canceled?
No! It has not been canceled. The MTN Zone Bundle is no longer accessible via the USSD code because MTN Ghana changed how these data bundles are purchased. Before these zone bundles were purchased via a USSD code *550# but now a new method has been introduced.
How to Activate the New MTN Zone Bundle
Follow the steps below to buy MTN Zone Bundles using the new method:
- Visit the MTN Data Zone App website (https://www.mtndatazone.mobi/)
- Enter your MTN number (except the first zero) in the space provided and click on “SEND OTP”.
- You will receive an OTP code via SMS
- Enter the 3-digit code in the space provided and click on “LOGIN”

Congratulation! You have successfully logged into the MTN Data Zone platform and can now buy the new MTN Zone Bundle. You can also check your Zone Bundle balance on the same platform.
How to Buy MTN Zone Bundles on the MTN Data Zone App
Before you buy the MTN Zone Bundle, make sure you have enough airtime.
- Click on “Bundles (View or Buy Bundles)”
- Select your preferred zone bundle and click on “BUY”
- You will receive a prompt to confirm your data purchase.
- Click on PURCHASE to proceed to buy the package
- Click on CANCEL if you want to change the package
Kindly note that the MTN Zone Bundle purchase will fail if you don't have enough airtime in your account. You might receive feedback like this: “Your Bundle Could Not Be Purchased. You Do Not Have Enough Funds to Perform This Purchase. Please Try Again!”

Also, note that these Special Offers change every hour and prices can also become cheaper when you move through an area where the network is less busy.
