How to Recover Deleted Spotify Playlists

Things to Remember Before Recovering Spotify Playlist

 Spotify provides the option to restore deleted playlists, with a limitation. Only playlists deleted within the past 90 days can be recovered. If a playlist was deleted more than three months ago, it cannot be retrieved on your account.


It is worth mentioning that Spotify's feature for playlist recovery is exclusively available through the web player. The mobile or desktop app of Spotify cannot be used to recover deleted playlists. 

How to Recover Deleted Spotify Playlists

 There is no requirement to utilize external applications or contact the Spotify Support team in order to retrieve deleted playlists. Simply follow the straightforward steps provided below.

1. Open your favorite web browser and Spotify’s Account Overview Page. Next, log in to your Spotify account.

2. On the right pane, click on the Recover Playlists option.


 

3. On the left, you will see the Recover Playlists page. The page will list all playlists that you can restore.

4. Click the Restore button behind the Playlist name to restore it to your account.
 

5. Once restored, the Restore button will change to Restored. This indicates that your playlists have been restored to your Spotify profile.
 

How to Recovery Spotify Playlists on Android & iPhone

The recovery of deleted Playlists is not possible through the Spotify mobile app. Therefore, users must depend on the web version of Spotify. To retrieve Spotify Playlists on Android and iPhone, follow these steps:

1. Launch your web browser and sign in to your Spotify account.

2. Then, click on the Hamburger menu located at the top right corner and choose Account.

3. Expand the Account Overview section and click on Recover Playlists. 


4. Select the Restore button beside the playlist you want to recover.


Unable to Find the Playlist to Recover?

If you are unable to locate the playlist you wish to recover, there are a few steps you should take. First, ensure that you are using the correct account. Additionally, try logging out and then logging back in to see if the playlists appear. It is also important to verify whether the playlist was actually deleted. Lastly, keep in mind that playlists can only be restored within 90 days of deletion. If more than 90 days have passed, it will not be possible to recover the playlists.
